| well friends, i'm back! i realize you've likely checked my site 2-3 times a day for the last year and a half anxiously awaiting the day i returned to xanga. well here i am. it took me like 7 tries to get the right password...haha.
quick update on my life:
I'm a sophomore in college - nursing major. It's going pretty well. I like school, but i get homesick/campsick sometimes.
I spent last summer as the activities coordinator at Joy El, and i'm going back this summer as Female head Counselor! i have mixed feelings, because i'm super excited, yet i know it'll be my last summer because the next summer i have to do a nursing internship. I'm so thankful for the time God gave me there, and the God-fearing friends i've made out there. Camp (not just Joy El, but Cooper too) has been one of the most influential things on my faith, and i wouldn't be the same without it.
I still love Jesus a lot! infact more so than i ever have...funny how that works. He continues to teach and lead me.
I guess i don't really know what else people want to know, so if you're one of the few that still checks this and you have something you really want to know, then ask.
Well, i hope you're all enjoying whatever it is you're doing in life right now.

Galatians 6:7-9 7Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

| Camp is all done. Just like last summer, i went to camp and spent an awesome summer with awesome people, and then had to leave it all behind. oh well, life goes on. I heard someone say once
"don't cry because its done, smile because it happened"
i don't remember who said it, but obviously it stuck with me...
anyway, God did a lot of amazing things at Joy El this summer in, through, and around me. it was awesome to see Him working.
Just a couple more weeks at home, and off to Sioux Falls i go. I'm really excited, and not excited at the same time. I'm excited for everything except the schoolwork. I've never liked homework, and if i'm not mistaken, i'm going to have a lot more in college. Oh, the other thing i'm not neccesarily so excited about is that i live on the 4th floor of a dorm with no elevator. Oh well, Praise God, hopefully it'll help keep that freshman 15 off.
Colossians 4:2
Devote yourselves to prayer, being watchful and thankful.

| hello my dear friends.
I got my motorcycle permit!!! whoo hoo! My brother taught me how to ride too. It's really fun, and not as hard as I thought it would be.
Seven days till Pennsylvania!!! I'm SOOO excited.
Last weekend i went to Harvey and Cooperstown for graduation open houses, and yesterday I went to Cavalier and stopped in Grand Forks for an open house on the way home. Good times, i like little road trips.
Three more days of school...ahhh! that's three days too many.
Youth group is over forever...sad.
Ecclesiastes 3:11
11 He has made
everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the
hearts of men; yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning
to end.

| wow, i didn't realize it had been so long since i updated.
well, i've still been working a lot, which is a little sad, but only a month left or so. I'm so excited for this summer! i'm excited for graduation and my open house party thing too. I still need to get announcements/invitations out...that might be a good idea.
I'm going to prom :) I didn't think i was gonna go, but now i'm going with my friend Anthony. I'm really excited! I'm going to be in Sioux Falls for registration until noon or so the day of prom, which puts me back home at about 4, with not much time to get ready, but i'll figure it out.
This is a verse i had to memorize for Student Leadership Team at church. I like it.
1 Timothy 4:16 Watch your life and doctrine closely. Perservere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.

| I got my contract for Joy El today. YES!! I'm so excited to go back. i'm gonna be a big senior counselor! I've wanted to do this since i was like...7 years old. You probably think i'm joking...but i'm not.
Two more days in the quarter. My schedule next quarter's gonna be sweet!!! only two classes.
I got to see one of my friends from Cavalier last night. We went to dinner and a movie. It was really fun.
State SADD, also very fun, kinda sad (no pun intended), because i had to say good-bye to all my friends on NLAB. I've gotten to know some of them pretty well this last year, and who know's when i'll see them again. The SADD dance was really fun too. my friends straightened my hair for it (i look a lot different with straight hair). I barely even recognized myself in some of the pictures.
This next week will be filled entirely with School, and Church Drama practice. It should be fun though.
Well, a verse for this week.
1 Peter 2:11-12 11Dear friends, I urge you, as aliens and strangers in the world, to abstain from sinful desires, which war against your soul. 12Live
such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing
wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he
visits us.
